Handcrafted by Ebenor

A cold-rolled, TIG-welded brass shell with bronze hoops and hand-machined lugs, built by Ebenor Percussion one drum at a time. The whole pack is that single snare, sampled 608 ways instead of a room full of drums.

A wide tuning range

Four tunings (High, Medium, Low and Payden) and four dampening options from Wide Open to BFSD. That covers a high articulate crack, a low controlled thump, and the deadened textures in between, all from the same shell.

Four mixes

Tight for a dry, focused hit, Big for width and power, Room for ambient depth, and Jonny's Signature, the house blend. Lead a track with one of the bigger mixes, or drop Tight underneath another snare for weight.

Brass Monster is a deep dive on one exceptional drum: a handcrafted Ebenor Percussion antique brass snare. The cold-rolled, TIG-welded shell, bronze hoops, and hand-machined lugs give it resonance, weight, and a tonal complexity you can hear across the full dynamic range. We sampled it wide, from cutting high tunings to deadened low ones, so a single snare can cover a lot of ground in real production.
