The DUSTED Drum Sample Pack by Drum Sample Shop is a destructive, texture-driven drum sample library designed for producers who want drums with character, grit, and emotional weight. Created in collaboration with Joe Clegg of Dust Palace, this pack transforms pristine acoustic drum recordings into distorted, mangled, and emotionally charged sonic weapons.

This is not a clean drum pack — and it’s not trying to be.

Joe Clegg took Drum Sample Shop’s original acoustic drum samples and ran them through an arsenal of rare drum machines, tape delays, cassette distortion, saturation units, and analog processing, reshaping them into aggressive, broken, and unmistakably musical drum sounds.

The result is a carefully curated blend of acoustic and electronic drum samples that excel as layers, textures, and impact elements. These sounds are built to add attitude, depth, and edge to otherwise clean productions — without overpowering the mix.

DUSTED is especially effective when:

  • Layered under clean drums

  • Used for transitions, drops, and hooks

  • Adding grit to pop, hip-hop, cinematic, or experimental tracks

After months of experimentation in Dust Palace’s tone lab, every sample in DUSTED was shaped using iconic analog gear heard on countless records, delivering drums that feel raw, emotional, and alive.
